01Disconnect Google in the Mekanismer portal
If you have connected Google for site verification (Google Search Console), disconnect it like this:
- Sign in to the Mekanismer portal and open the website in question.
- Go to Annonsesporing (ad tracking) and find the site verification.
- Press Koble fra (disconnect) next to Google Search Console.
We then delete the Google token used for the verification immediately, together with the details of who connected, and revoke the access with Google. If the same Google account is connected to another of your websites, we delete only the token for this website and leave the access with Google in place, so the other connection keeps working. The verification code on the website remains.
02Remove Mekanismer in your Google Account
You can also revoke the access yourself, directly with Google, without signing in to Mekanismer: open your Google Account, Third-party apps and services, select Mekanismer and remove the access.
We can then no longer retrieve anything from your account. The token we have stored stops working immediately, and it is deleted when you disconnect in the portal or ask us to delete it.
03Request full deletion
If you want us to delete everything we have retrieved, including search performance data and account data, send an email to post@mekanismer.no. Tell us which website, or which Google account, the request concerns.
We delete the data within 30 days of receiving the request, and send you a confirmation by email once it is done.
If we need to confirm that the request comes from the account owner, or from the customer the website belongs to, we will ask before deleting.
04What is deleted and when
